London ‘uke-punk pioneers’ Bears In Trees have a mammoth social media following with 19,000 on Twitter, 30,000 on TikTok and almost 10,000 on Instagram. They’re making serious waves and the whole world is starting to catch on. The band have recently released a new single ‘It Gets Better’.

Guitarist Nicholas Peters say’s “I wrote It Gets Better after one of my closest friends tried to take his own life. I drove with someone else to see him in hospital, and beforehand we stopped at a Sainsbury’s to get him some snacks. Someone we loved dearly was in a hospital bed and we were fretting over trying to find him some vegan cookies. He’s okay now, and I’m okay, and everyone seems okay. I wrote this song for him, and for myself, and for everyone around me as a way to remind us that it’s going to get better. It just comes in small doses”.

This feelgood single has the signature upbeat indie-pop sound you hear in every single this band creates, they have also added a Ukulele Pop sound to this single, something you may not be familiar with hearing but the band have managed to combined the sounds and make a feelgood single which you have you tapping along.

The harmonies combined with the bands raw sound and a ukulele lift your spirits, the bands unique sound really captures your attention, the band have created a single which any listener will instantly connect with, the hooks are strong and grip even when you think you’ve escaped them. This combined with the lyrics and vocals makes this single so special to hear.

A magical single from a talented band, great job guys!
